Design of Tom Roche’s photography portfolio.
While working at the studio, I created the studio’s website in a clever interactive experience. The website was designed from scratch and had custom code that allowed us to access a backend custom interface that would allow us to change the galleries and images without writing a line of code. We implemented interactive animations that engaged the viewers. I incorporated a virtual flip book and a blog feed into the design of the site. When viewing any of the images in the galleries, you could simply send the image to a friend by entering an email at the bottom of the image and hit the send button. I also dreamed up other creative ideas to connect with customers, such as creating short teaser videos of new work that would be delivered to the inboxes of creative directors as a way to generate attention. I also printed the studio’s portfolio books, designed layouts, and printed large format art prints and promotional books.
